Iman Scott

This is Iman Scott’s third year at Glenforest. Mrs. Scott is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to South Carolina in 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education with minor work in Exercise Science in 2015 from Maryville College in Tennessee. Mrs. Scott has over ten years of education experience, ranging from early childhood to special education group teaching for middle and high school students. She also has 1:1 special needs behavioral intervention training and educational math and reading strategies for students ages eight to sixteen.

Mrs. Scott is working to earn her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Adds Mrs.Scott, “I am so excited to implement my educational philosophy, which is to meet the child where they are. My goal is to continue the mission of this school and to encourage the students I teach every day.” When she is not teaching she loves to indulge in her hobbies, which include baking, small-city traveling, and anything crafty.
