Iman Harris

Iman Harris is originally from Atlanta Georgia, and moved to South Carolina at the start of 2023. Harris received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education with minor work in Exercise Science in 2015 from Maryville College in Tennessee. Harris has ten years of education experience ranging from early childhood to special education group teaching for middle and high school students. She also has 1:1 special needs behavioral intervention training and educational math and reading strategies for students ages eight to sixteen.

Harris plans to earn her Master’s Degree in Special Education in the fall. Adds Harris, “This is my first year here in the Glenforest School community and I am so excited to implement my educational philosophy which is to meet the child where they are. My goal is to continue the mission of this school and to encourage the students I teach every day.” When Harris is not teaching she loves to indulge in her hobbies, which include baking, small-city traveling, and anything crafty.
