Latarshia Gilchrist

​Originally born in Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Latarshia Gilchrist moved to South Carolina in 2020. She graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Science – also minoring in Disability Studies. Ms. Gilchrist has worked in early childhood for many years. She has also served as a special education teacher and ABA therapist. Ms. Gilchrist loves the arts and cooking. She lives in Columbia, SC with her two children (Xavier and Grace), as well as her dog, Leon.
