Elementary School Teacher
Mrs. Erin Hancock is in her second year of teaching at Glenforest in the lower elementary. Mrs. Hancock received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her Master’s in Child and Adolescent Development, Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University online.
Mrs. Hancock has worked with special needs children through child care, early intervention, and at a pediatrician’s office throughout her professional development. She was raised in Simpsonville, SC and lives in West Columbia, SC with her husband of 10 years and two children, who are 8 and 3 years old. She has been clogging since she was 7, along with her identical twin sister, and continues to compete with Southern Junction Cloggers out of Mauldin, SC.
She also teaches clogging at Goins Dancing in West Columbia, SC. Mrs. Hancock enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending clogging and dance competitions with her teams and children.
