Why Does Every Child Love Mrs. Holland...
We learn a lot and have so much fun! And you can see we all laugh a good bit each day. In short, Tammy Holland rocks per Mr. Winkler. (Ha!Ha!)
So tell us a bit more about yourself Ms. Holland:
I believe that God gave me a gift for working with children. I have been working with children since I started baby-sitting at the age of 11. When I was in high school I helped out at Carolina Children’s Home. In college I received an Associates Degree in Child Development. I also substituted for Lexington School District 1 and Lexington School Disrict 2.
I got started at Glenforest School as a substitute and I have been here for over 13 years. I have been married for 25 years to a wonderful man named David Holland. We have three lovely children. Two of them are really adults. Nicholas is my oldest child and he is 22 years old and has been accepted to Spartan College in Tulsa, OK. Tori is my only daughter, and she is 18 years old. She is currently a student at Winthrop University. Nathan is my youngest and he is 11 years old and he keeps me young at heart. He is in the 5th grade at White Knoll Elementary.
In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing minesweeper, and completing cross word puzzles.
