We are working hard in art – currently, our Elementary students are building their very own “Futuristic Ornathoptors” inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. He was a Master painter, inventor, sculptor, architect, scientist and engineer!
In other classes we are creating “3D Sculptures” of our “alter-egos” – we have been learning the formulas to drawing our faces as well as building them out of recycled materials and plaster rigid wrap – you should start seeing these sculptures on display in our hallways here on campus. They have been made with plastic milk cartons, empty toilet paper rolls. newspaper and plaster! Considering these materials, I think our Glenforest Artists have done a great job!!!
