Tuition Assistance
There are a variety of options available to families to help finance a Glenforest School education. In addition to these options, the Internal Revenue Service has allowed and continues to allow taxpayers a deduction for medical care under IRS Regulation Section 1.213-1 (e) (v) (a) for the cost of attendance at the Glenforest School of West Columbia, South Carolina.
Scholarship Assistance
Glenforest School provides scholarship assistance to aid families in the cost of tuition. We recommend to a prospective family interested in enrollment to review the links at the bottom of this page for financial aid. We list a few credible options regarding tuition assistance, and this of course is not a guarantee but simply a recommendation for your consideration.
The application process is completely confidential and you can meet in person with us to explore choices for covering tuition here at Glenforest School (2011-2012 Tuition Fee are posted). If you do wish to inquire then please email us to request the Scholarship Form. You can not be approved for a Scholarship without completing this form each year and sending in the necessary documentation. Each Scholarship request is honored to the best of our School’s ability and although we would like to provide additional funding to every student enrolled this is limited and therefore not everyone may be accepted.
Please do discuss your child’s tuition fees with friends and family, and please seek outside help for them as we want to partner with any foundation, private resource, etc in order to provide the necessary assistance. We are raising resources all year long for this purpose.
Tax Deduction / Special Needs Schooling
Please note as a parent tuition fees maybe deductible. You will need to speak with your tax advisor regarding the Medical Tax Deduction Information. We are a special needs school and many families utilize the information each year for a tax credit with a statement on School letterhead.
