Fast for Word
The Fast ForWord program is a reading intervention designed for K-12 education institutions and clinical specialists worldwide whose students are reading below grade level. The Fast ForWord program develops and strengthens memory, attention, processing rate, and sequencing—the cognitive skills essential for reading intervention program success. The strengthening of these skills results in a wide range of improved critical language and reading skills such as phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, decoding, working memory, syntax, grammar, and other skills necessary to learn how to read or to become a better reader.
MAP assessment
The results, based on the stability of our data, provide rich insight into learning as it occurs. The implications for instruction and beyond are profound. Each child learns differently. So we developed computerized adaptive assessments that test differently, allowing teachers to see their students as individuals – each with their own base of knowledge. Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests present students with engaging, age-appropriate content. As a student responds to questions, the test responds to the student, adjusting up or down in difficulty. The result is a rewarding experience for the student, and a wealth of detailed information for teachers, parents and administrators.
30 minute enrichment time
The 30 minute enrichment time provides our students with individual time that meets their individual needs. We want to make sure that each of our students have access to exactly what they need. This time frame during the school day allows us to help create a perfect schedule for each student based on their specific needs.
